Walk the Walk 2013
Do the “local-motion” with OCP on Saturday, November 2, 2013!
This “fun-raising” Walk is a way for the community to help OCP in its mission to promote personal growth and community well-being in the Harrisonburg area.
The event kicks off and ends with complimentary meals: breakfast is served at 8am and lunch at 12pm. The actual Walk begins at 9am. To give everyone a chance to participate, two walk options are offered: a 10K and a 10-block—both through picturesque, historic, or otherwise noteworthy sights of the town. Those choosing the 10-block option may walk the route as many times as they please.
Walkers will try to raise a minimum of $100 ($10/km) as a donation for Our Community Place.
There is a Costume Contest with a prize for 1st place!!!

Make sure to download the Sponsor Information Form, and Tax Receipt Form. You can also head over to and join our Facebook Event page. If you would like to promote the walk, you can access the Colorful Poster as well as a Simple Black and White version.
