Corporate worship times

Sundays at 10am in OCP (17 East Johnson Street)
Mondays at 6am in The Son House (744 Madison Street, upstairs apartment)
Monday-Wednesday from 9am to 9:45am at OCP

 

Weekly Events

Mondays

At 6am the original Early Church meets at the Lapps’ house (upstairs apartment of 744 Madison Street). We have a time of silence, pray together, and read and discuss the week’s scripture from the common lectionary.

Sundays

We meet at OCP at 10am for our weekly corporate worship service. We eat together at 12:30pm.

Various weekdays

We have Home Groups meeting in the homes of Early Church members twice a month as an opportunity to get to know a small group of Early Church members better. Email Sylvia Meyer (sylviaHMeyer at gmail dot com) to find out more and join a group.

First Sundays

Our Community Farm (18794 Mountain Valley Road) holds a games night starting at 6pm and including dinner, to which all are invited!

Seasonal Events

Baruk

Seasonally we get together for a time of varied worship. We sing songs, share stories, and read writings of how great the Lord is. Keep an eye out for more information on this to come!

Annual Events

InGathering

Every Fall we take a week in the woods for camping, worshipping Father, Son, & Holy Spirit in liturgy, prayer, songs and chants, communion, silence, contemplation, Messianic circle dancing, preaching/teaching, drama, poetry, storytelling, etc. You may join for the whole week or a few days. Keep an eye out in late Summer for these announcements!

Women’s Groups

Two women’s groups going on:

Meeting Monday mornings at 9:30am at OCP, women from Early Church and the surrounding community get together for a time of sharing and prayer.

Early Church specific, the other meets corporately once a month and in small groups of three or four weekly or bi-monthly. Email earlychurchva@gmail.com for more information.
