Our mission:

Our Community Works (OCW) is a non-profit subsidiary of Our Community Place (OCP) that exists to provide good and meaningful work for our community members.  OCW seeks to further the OCP’s goal of creating a space for reforming lives and teaching community well-being.  Profits received through the work of the community will be returned to the community and its continued work.

Our vision:

Our Community Works’ vision is to provide work and training for those in our community suffering from occupational challenges.  Through our work together we hope to deepen the self-worth of the participants, creating a rhythm of community and work which gives a chance for healing.  Our hope and goal is to encourage our community and its members to work toward personal growth and community well-being--to create a culture where they get the healing and affirmation they need while learning to heal and affirm others.
